La noche del domingo en se llevaron a cabo lo MTV Movie & TV Awards, premiación que reconoce los títulos más populares de la industria del entretenimiento, teniendo como presentador a Adam Devine.

Los vencedores de la noche fueron la película La Bella y La Bestia ganando el premio de Película del año mientras que Emma Watson obtuvo el de Mejor actuación en una película.
El evento sirvió para mostrar el trailer final de la película “Mujer Maravilla” el cual fue presentado por Gal Gadot. También fueron presentados nuevos avances de “It”, “Transformers: El último caballero” y “Spider-Man de regreso a casa”.
En la parte musical se presentaron Big Sean, Noah Cyrus, Camila Cabello, J Balvin y Pitbull, estos últimos tres presentaron “Hey Ma”, tema de la película “Rápidos y Furiosos 8”.
